A Mississauga Osteopathy clinic –
We Find Why It Hurts,
Not Just Where
An Osteopathic Clinic You Can Trust
JD Osteopathy is a manual osteopathy clinic with two locations in Mississauga and Burlington. We do one thing, and we do it at the highest level of training available in Ontario, from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, and as members of OSTCAN and the Ontario Osteopathic Association.
Rather than treating only where it hurts, we assess how your whole body moves and find what is actually driving your symptoms, because the source of the problem is often somewhere other than where you feel it.
Our goal is not to keep you coming back with endless appointments. It is to understand what your body is having trouble doing, fix that problem directly, and get you to a point where you need us as little as possible. With two osteopathic clinics in Mississauga and Burlington, our approach is focused on delivering personalized osteopathic treatments that get results, whether you’re recovering from injury, managing pain, or optimizing performance.
We want to make sure you leave the appointment feeling more empowered and with a better understanding of what’s going on. At JD Osteopathy, we’re here for you.
Our approach is what makes us stand out.

Why Is JD Osteopathy Different?
Most practitioners treat where it hurts. Our Mississauga osteopath practitioners look at your whole body to find why it hurts. Your shoulder pain might be coming from your ribs, your knee pain from your hip, of your headaches from tension in your diaphragm. We don’t just throw techniques at the problem and see what sticks. We reason through your anatomy, correct what matters, and let your body do the rest. The result is less force, more precision, and lasting relief.

Understanding Your Body Is Part of Getting Better

Every appointment ends the same way. Before you leave, I walk you through what I found, where the restrictions were, why I worked where I did, and what your body is likely doing in the days ahead. That conversation matters as much as the treatment itself.
Most patients come in not knowing why they are in pain. That is completely normal. Pain is rarely straightforward, and the area that hurts is often not where the problem started. What helps is starting to build a picture, understanding how different parts of the body relate to each other, how old injuries show up in new places, and why rest alone rarely resolves something that has been going on for months.
That is what our blog is for. Each post covers a specific condition, pattern, or question, written the way I would explain it in the room. Whether you are trying to understand why your knee keeps returning after treatment, what your neck pain might have to do with your thoracic spine, or what an osteopathic assessment is actually looking for, the answers are there.
You do not need to know what is wrong before you book. But if you want to explore what might be going on, or simply understand your body a little better, start here.
What our patients say
I started seeing Dmitro for back and neck pain, and he’s been incredible. What really sets him apart is how calming, knowledgeable, and thorough he is. He takes the time to clearly explain the issues he finds, why they’re happening, and how he’s treating them. I always leave feeling better and more informed. I’ve recommended him to all my coworkers and friends.

After speaking with doctors and physiotherapists who couldn’t solve the problems I was having with my elbow, Dmitro’s treatment was the only thing that seemed to cause relief. I highly recommend him, especially if you have been puzzled by what is causing your aches and pains. JD Osteopathy made it easy to book, they are conveniently located, and had a very clean, professional presentation.

Saw Dmitro for a couple of sessions and my knee already feels a lot better. No sharp or stabbing pains when squatting heavy or doing full olympic lifts. He was really calm and understanding, kept me informed on why my body was feeling like this, and gave me maintenance tips as well. Would highly recommend!

I’ve seen Dmitro for three sessions of osteopathy so far, and although it hasn’t been very long, I can already tell whatever he is doing, it’s working. He is extremely thorough and I really appreciate that he explains everything as he’s doing it, so I can better understand what’s going on in my body. I highly recommend you check out JD Osteopathy if you feel like your body needs a tune-up!

Great experience at JD Osteopathy. Dmitro was professional and took the time to explain what was causing my chronic knee pain and the steps performed in the treatment. I was able to go for a run again for the first time in weeks post treatment. I loved the comprehensive online booking tool, and it is conveniently located just off the highway with plenty of free parking.
