What is Osteopathic Manual Therapy?

Manual Osteopathy is physical therapy that is drugless, holistic philosophy of assessment and treatment that follows the principles set by Dr. A.T. Still.

Using gentle and rythmic motions, the treatment's goal is to restore the body’s natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate. It is hollistic in the sense that your body is treated as a dynamic unit of function and not a collection of independent, self-sufficient parts. Treatment is based on ensuring you and your body as a whole, are functioning properly

By removing restrictions and imbalances in the body’s structure, we affect and restore the proper function. The focus is on finding the health as opposed to the disease, by balancing mechanical load, encouraging proper circulation and nerve communication to the tissues to facilitate the healing process.

Osteopathic Treatment is Gentle and Rhythmic.
We aim to build you up, not tear you down.

I focus on finding the health,
not disease.

Whether chronic or acute, I can help with muscle and joint pain and other muskuloskeletal dysfunctions by encouraging your body's natural self-healing & self-regulating mechanisms. Using my extensive knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology and practical clinical experience, I assess and address functional asymmetries to restore health where it is lost. Finding health means to ensure your body's natural ability to self-heal is uninterupted by restoring the natural equillibrium.

"To find health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease" – Dr. Andrew Taylor Still
